I don't think I have ever watched an Eastern Kingbird flying. I guess they can hover as well ... and they do it well. As it turns out, they belong to the flycarcher familuy .. and that shows up in how they fly. Cool bird.

This is an Eastern Wood-Pewee .. a small flycatcher. I love those eyes. I like to think of them as fly hunters.
