I don't think I have ever watched an Eastern Kingbird flying. I guess they can hover as well ... and they do it well. As it turns out, they belong to the flycarcher familuy .. and that shows up in how they fly. Cool bird.

I tried to take a picture of htis Eastern Kingbird but I missed the shot. Teresa had my back .. she was able to get a great photo here .. well done.

We saw two Eastern Kingbirds but only photograpned this one. They seemed to be playing tag but pause just long enougn for this photo .. then back to the game.
