One More Try

This is a much better photo of a Gray Catbird. I hear them all the time, but rarely get a good photo of one.

From The Swamp?

I check and I have never photographed a Swamp Sparrow in the past .. at least I didn't document it. What a cool sparrow. It's legs are longer to allow it to wade in shallow water. Cool.

Hiding In The Trees

We were hiking along the miami river when Teresa spotted this beautiful deer. She was hiding in the trees just a few feet from the Miami River. I would have missed it. ❤️

They Are Back

Check out this female Widow skimmer. I love dragonflies. They are so cool and when you get the photo just right, you can see amazing details in their wings and head. This one is not in perfect focus, but I still was happy to see one. It is that time of year.

Pearly-eyes

I do not recall photographing one of these before. I think it is a Northern Pearly-eye Butterfly. It never closed its wings so I could see the other side. At first I thought it was a Wood Nymph. Glad I captured this photo.
