Great Egret

This Great Egret caught me by surprise. I watched her land in a small pond. Capturing a good photo turned out to be very difficult. Next thing I knew she took to the sky. I managed a couple of in-flight photos. Such a beautiful bird.

A Song

I don't know of many birds that sing their song better than the Carolina Wren. This one was high up in a tree that was over the hiking trail. So beautiful.
