They Are Here …

I have been hearing them for a few days but finally was able to find and photograph one. I love Baltimore Orioles. Beautiful bird.

Welcome Back

I have been waiting for this day ... and there he was. The first Baltimore Oriole photo of the season.

Now we watch for the return of the Indigo Buntings.

It took as couple weeks but I finally captured a few good Baltimore Oriole photos. I just keep trying to capture the beauty of nature.

What a beautiful bird. I am so grateful for the opprotunity to engage with such a beaitufil bird.

I tried …

Yes, I tried. It was the first Baltimore Oriole we have seen this season. I followed him from tree to tree, but he avoided my camera succesfully for what seemed like an hour. This photo was the only one I managed to capture. It will not be the last Oriole we see this year, but it is a first.

On two seperate occasions this week Teresa saw the bright color of a Baltimore Oriole hidden in the trees but so obsucre that we almost missed them. They are both males, and in both photos a significant portion of the bird is hidden from view. I still love the photos.
