Dinner Date

The rain flooded this spot just off the trail south of Piqua. This couple seemed to be enjoying someting a few inches under the water. I love the bright greens of the male mallard.

Hold Still! 🤣

It was fun trying to capture a photo of this Carolina Chickadee. She was all over this small tree, but continued snapping photos until she took off.

Wood Duck

Wow, it has been a while since we have photographned a male Wood Duck. We have seen females, but no dudes. This is such a small duck too, but their colors and apperance is so unique and beautiful.

The third photo was taken by Teresa. What an interesting shot. Well done!

Squirrel!

The squirrels have been very active. Sadly, I miss most of them.

So Many Vultures

Over the weekend we went to a birthday party for one of our granddaughters. There is a creek through the woods near their home. While standing on the deck, I notices a large number of black vultures .. and I mean LARGE number. I tried to count them but there was just too many. I shot these two photos as we were heading home. Just a small sample.
