Fishing

I photographed this Osprey a while back. We don't see them very often. They eat fish ... only fish, so you will see them near lakes, larger ponds and rivers. They are very cool, at least I love seeing them.

Bring On The Ice

These are photos I took in the last day or so. It was very cold and ice has started to form on both the Miami River and this fishing pond at Big Woods Reserve. The wind was not nice to hikers today!

Another Tree Hunter

It was cold and windy but that did not keep this Downy Woodpecker from his daily hunt. They are a very small woodpecker, but we always love seeing them.
