I did not expect to see wild turkeys on the bike path in Piqua but their they were. Since this photo, we have seen them again. Teresa shot these photos while I was holding Cooper. I think he had other ideas.

This is a Brown-belted Bumble Bee. We are coming to the end of summer. Morning tempeatrues are cooler now and we are seeing fewer birds species. Time to get ready for winter (boo).

We saw this Buckeye Butterfly while hiking last week. When I took the photo, I realized it was a buckeye but I did not realize it had so much damage. Life must be rough for most insects, and butterflies are not an excpetion.
On another note: I have a friend that has a Nikon camera for sale. The pricer is right for a good starter camera setup. Email or DM me if you are interested.

I think I have taken more photos of the Cabbage White Butterfly this year than in the past. They normally don't stop long enough for a good photo, but this was another photo opprotunity. When you see them flying across your yard, you don't see the black markings. They are a very intense butterfly.
