Those Eyes

It is not perfect but you can see his eyes. I added a closer look to the right. I love the details. I shot that with my 600mm lens from about 15 feet. Not bad.

Bees are very cool. They are so diriven to do the work of bees. This dude was no exception.

Bees in Heaven

So, lets say you are the bees in the 1st photo, and you see the site in photo 2. I can close my eyes and hear the conversation: You turn to your buddy (you can see him in the 1st photo, flying off to the left), and say something like, “I’m in flower heaven”. The bees have been so active this week. Life is good for these dudes.

Summer Bees

public.jpeg

It is that time of year when the bees are very active, and of course the flowers are blooming. We saw this action play out while hiking at Cedar Bog Nature Preserve. I will post a video from our hike tomorrow, at least that is my goal.

A shy bee?

FullSizeRender.jpg

I don’t think he wanted his face on the internet, or maybe he’s just shy. This photo is from this past fall. Teresa took it in our back yard in early September. Bees make for great photos.

I have not been able to get out much this last few days. I’m hoping for a break in the rain and show. 🤞🏼
