We have seen a number of bluejays lately. I thought I needed to share a few. The photos come from reserves / preserves from around the county. Yes, the jays were loud and obnoxious.

Welcome to Badlands National Park. This is one of the more unique National Parks that Teresa and I have visited.
I shot this photo yesterday. It’s an iPhone Panorama. Check out the colors in the rocks. It was cold and windy, but worth it.

I have seen a few Cowbird order the last couple weeks, but I have struggled to capture a good photograph.
I have talked about Brood parasites in the past. Nature ... its interesting how all forms of life find all kinds of ways to survive.

Sometimes I see a bird and find that I want the photo so bad .. then I follow the bird around for a while, trying to capture a photo. I think this Tufted Titmouse was just having fun with me, but I got the last laugh.
