The Color of this Hibiscus 🤯

I snapped this photo of this beautiful Hibiscus at the Cincinnati Zoo over the weekend. The photo is nice, but does not do the flower justice. The colors were amazing.

One Little Toad

So this toad is about the size of a quarter. I think we saw 20 or so of them while hiking along the Stillwater River. They have been very active this past few weeks.

Lush, Green and Beautiful

Talk about lush and beautiful - check out this view. We hiked across the bridge over the Miami River, just south of Farrington Reserve. There is so much green right now. I am not sure how long it will last given how hot it is.

Up a Tree

I saw this squirrel run up this tree and was surpried when he stopped .. just stopped. He sat there for a while. I even had time to capture this photo. It was cute.

Question .. Comma ..

I can’t tell you if this is a ‘question mark’ or a ‘comma’ butterfly. I saw a few of this when we were hiking near the Stillwater River. This is one of the more interesting butterflies. I love the detail in the design of their wings.
