Mountains, Rivers and Sky

FullSizeRender.jpg

The Colorado Rivers passes just behind the place where we stayed this week. It is located just north of Moab, Utah. This photo does not do the view justice. The rocks and sky meet to make a stunning view. I love the outdoors.

Broken Bridge

FullSizeRender.jpg

This photo was taken about 2 weeks ago, so mid-February 2019. The Stillwater River was up, but it was a beautiful day. I love fluffy, white clouds. We did not see much wildlife. Maybe one woodpecker, but nothing else. This bridge is closed and chained off. It is just old, and broken.

Scenic Views

On Friday morning, Teresa and i hiked at River’s Edge. This site is maintained by Brunner Nature Center. We didn’t see much wildlife, but it was a great hike. The views were super cool, but hard to photograph. Here is one shot of the Stillwater River from the trail. While the trees blocked a lot of the beauty of the river, it was still a great hike.

Greenville Creek

This is Greenville Creek. It sure looks like a river at this point. Just south of this location, it is a beautiful falls. I was testing the limits here. The wind was really strong, and I was nervous about flying the drone. It all worked out.

On the River

DJI_0004.JPG

It won’t be long until these trees get dressed. For now, scenes like this capture my dreams and my attention. Teresa and I hiked this trail along the Stillwater river last week. I shot this photo from about 10 feet out into the river using my drone, on the river.
