Teresa captured this absolute mastermind of a squirrel executing a high-stakes, tactical raid on the bird feeder. She caught him red-handed... or rather, nut-handed. Busted!

You have to wonder what she is thinking. This Locust Trees and the thorns seem to have her trapped.

We saw another hiker not long after we saw the deer I shared yesterday. This one was also very patient with us, allowing us to capture a few photographs.
The thing about photos like this one, and the deer photo yesterday is that both photos captures the spirit of curiosity. This squirrel, and the deer both checked us out; we checked them out .. then we went our separate ways. We were happy, and I think they were too.
I love nature and love to interact with her. It is inspiring and provides experiences that last.

This little guy is young and very curious. He stayed in this spot for a long time before heading up the tree. Maybe he thought we could not see him 😬. So cute.

The squirrels have been very active. I took these photos on different days, but near the same spot. These little creatures are cute for sure! I can hear the 1st one saying, “This is my nut”. HAHA
