Teresa and I both captured photos of Eastern Comma Butterflies this week. I shot the top photo on one hike, and Teresa photographed the other one on a different day, and at a different location.

We have seen a number of Summer Azure butterflies recently. They are about the size of a dime, and in the right light they are so blue. Teresa took this photo on a recent hike. ❤️

It has been a good butterfly season. We saw several Silver-spotted Skippers this year. They are interesting. They kind of look more like a moth but they have distinct markings. ❤️
