Beautiful flowers ... beautiful butterflies. It has been beautiful on the trails this past week. Fewer birds and butterflies, but still beautiful.

Looking back over the summer, I wish I had a count of the number of photos of various Species of butterfly. This is a Common Wood-nymph. The colors are not bright, but I find this to be a beautiful butterfly.

It is not every day that I find a Cabbage White Butterfly that is willing to stop long enough for a photo. Usually said butterfly stop, I lift my camera into position, butterfly splits. This was just long enough.

I am enjoying the ending days of the summer of 2020. That said, I thas been a crazy year and I will not look back at 2020 with fondness.
Even in the mist of the bad times, if you look for it, you find there has been some speical times. This photo reminded me to look for the good in all the noise. In the noise, and the chaos, you may find the most beautiful experiences that bring lasting joy.

The wing colors and design of various butterflies blows me away. Teresa took the top photo, and I captured the bottom two. There is so much color in this photo. It’s just beautiful.
It is. that time of year when the season begins to change The birds are already migrating, and the cooler temperatures are impacting butterflies and other insects. It’s about time for the leaves to display their fall colors. We will be sharing photos of that as it occurs. Stay warm.
