First there was one, then there was two. Then they moved to this dead tree and the games begain. They chased each other around the tree like kids on a playground. What fun.

Didn’t Expect This One
This was a surprise. I took the photo on a hike, but didn't recognize it as a Golden-crowned Kinglet. I have seen them in warmer weather, but today is cold.

Where’s The Food
I saw this Red-bellied Woodpecker in the tree. It was clear he was about to take off. It quickly moved to the feeder. Same bird, but looks so different.

Loud & Beautiful
I could hear them while hiking, but could not tell how many there were or locate any of them. I guess I could say this on many hikes, but the Blue Jays were so loud and active.
After looking for what seemed like an eternity, I saw this one. I love the colors. So beautiful .. and yes, so loud.
