So Many Vultures

Over the weekend we went to a birthday party for one of our granddaughters. There is a creek through the woods near their home. While standing on the deck, I notices a large number of black vultures .. and I mean LARGE number. I tried to count them but there was just too many. I shot these two photos as we were heading home. Just a small sample.

Eagle Swap

This was special. We had driven to Grand Lake St. Marys just to see this nest. We knew there should be eggs and maybe even little eagles in the nest, but we happened to arrive as Mom and Dad eagle were both there. One eagle was leaving and the other on the job. The clouds made this a little dark. I tried to fix it but this is about as good as it gets. What a special experience.
