Winter Jay

I didn't get a great photo of this Blue Jay but considering the lighting it was not bad. It was a long shot too, but it is the best I could capture on this day and time. It was not making much noise like they usually do.

Black Vulture Party?

We were out walking the puppy when we saw this wake of black Black Vultures. They are not as large as the Turkey Vultures that are more common around here. In fact, we rarely see this this far north, but there they were.

Downy

I didn't get a great photo but it did not stop me from trying. We saw this Downy Woodpecker while hiking along the Stillwater River this past week. It was good to spot him.

A Spring Like Thanksgiving

What a beautiful day. Even the Eastern Bluebirds were loving the mild tempeatures this week. I photographed this one the day before thanksgiving.
