We saw this White-breasted Nuthatch while hiking at Farrington Reserve last week. Yes, I still get excited when I see one of these guys climbing around in a nearby tree. So interesting to photograph.

Incoming Gull

When we drive up to the Grand Lake St Marys we can always count on seeing a number of American Herring Gulls. I captured this photo as this one flew over us.

They are cool looking birds ..

So Many Goldfinch

I am surprised at how often we see American Goldfinch. We saw them at serveral sites this past week. Such a beautiful bird.

Beautiful Song

We saw this Carolina Wren while hiking at Grand Lake St. Marys State Park this week. This wren was going to town singing a such a beautiful song.

Since the carolina wren does not migrate we hope to see him again .. soon.
