I think this is the best photo I have taken of a Tufted titmouse. I have shot many photos of this species, but this photo is near perfect ... to me anyway. Wow.

A Little Blue Today

I have seen blue jays at this bird feeder before but have had a diffcult time capturing a good photo. I was able to do it this time!!! Beautiful bird, but I guess I say that all the time.

Smile For The Camera

I think the Red-bellied Woodpecker is a cool bird. They are not just colorful .. they climb trees so fast, and perch in such a cool posture.

This is two diffferent birds, photographed on two different days this week.

They both seemed to be smiling for the picture 😱.

The Search For Food

I felt a little guilt as this mourning dove gave me this look. Under this snow there is a a lot of bird feed. There was a second dove just to the right, and as you can see in the background, a number of sparrows. The snow always makes food more work for them.

It’s Stil Winter

I have been out taking photos of the birds and the snow but I am still processing them. I will be sharing those soon. In the mean time, my feathered friends are very active as they look for food. I think more active than I have seen them for months.
