This Juvenile Bald Eagle has been around more lately. Previolsy we have seen her flying around near Big Woods. This photo was taken right after she had made a kill. She was in ths open field which made for this cool photo. What a beautiful sight. She could be two years old, but I really don’t know for sure.

Hey Crazy Guy In The Mini

This is one of the best photos of a Red-tailed Hawk that I have shot this year. She seemed to be curious and not afraid.

We were driving on a country road when I spotted her in this tree. I figured that she would fly away when I stopped to take a photo, but she just looked at me and stayed put. I love this photo:).

Look up!

Earlier this week, we were out driving around while looking for birds to photograph. We had stopped at Garbry Big Woods but had not seen anything so I was ready to head towards home. Teresa starts pointing towards the sky ... I didn’t see anything at first, but then I saw this beautiful hawk flying overhead. I managed to capture her in this photography. I was at a perfect angle and she was at the right spot for an amazing photograph. I really like this photo.

Big, beautiful Hawk

We were driving to Maple Ridge Reserve when I spotted this Broad-winged Hawk. She was not brothered when I got out of the car to take her picture. She is one of the larger hawks I have seen recently. Beautiful raptor.
