Walking On Water

I captured this photo of this female Mallard as she stood in the middle of the Miami River. I love the blue and white. The second photo includes the male. She was walking on water while he was floating🤣.

A Duck Date?

Adjustments.jpeg

I enjoyed watching these Mallards as they slowly cruised across the lake. It seemed like they were on a date .. just out getting some sun and maybe lunch. They didn’t seem rushed.

We need more time like this .. time to enjoy others and just relax.

Mallard Day

Adjustments.jpeg

Today it was ‘Mallard’ day. I lost count, but there was a lot of them. This is my favorite .. I really didn’t get a great photo, but the colors are always so beautiful. It is not uncommon to get shades of green, blue, yellow, brown .. just great colors. I was just slightly out of focus on this shot. In fact, every shot I took was a little off. Next time!

While hiking last week, we saw this male and female mallard. Male mallards are so beautiful. I love the green caps. They are so beautiful.

Too Cold For A Swim?

Adjustments.jpeg

We saw these three mallards landing on the Miami River as we were hiking on the bike trail. If you ask me, it is far too cold for a swim, but it didn’t seem to matter to them. They were not very close, but I captured this photo.
