A Pearl-hued Beauty Resting On A Blade Of Green

I love the Pearl Crescent butterfly. They are small, but they have class. Then there is the colors .. just so beautiful.

Sunflower Seed Secured

As I have said before, we stop at a local reserve most mornings to feed the birds. The feeders also give us a place to watch the birds.

Today we had fun watching as this pole served as a gym for this White-breasted Nuthatch. I guess she likes the sunflower seeds.

More On Squirrels

I have never really spent any time learning more about squirrels. Well, the top photo is of a Fox Squirrel we saw this week. They are the largest squirrel in North America. The second photo is of the very common Eastern Gray Squirrel. To be honest, I never really thought about the difference. Both were fun to watch and photograph.
