Pewee

This is an Eastern Wood-Pewee. It's not the 1st one I have photographed this year, but given the timing I doubt we see many more this fall. She was not paying much attention to us, but seemed content with the beautiful weather.

More Paint

I totally missed this ... but Teresa saw her and shot this photo. It was another Painted Lady butterfly. Interesting that we are seeing more butterflies right now after so few all summer.

Still Here

I sure didn't think I would see any Cedar Waxwings this week. We saw at least 4 of them, but these two stayed for some extra photos. I still think they are cool birds.

Monarch ❤️

We are still seeing a few butterflies, even on the colder mornings. This Monarch was sure enjoying the wild flowers.

In The Shadows

Even when they are in the shadows the American Goldfinch are beautiful. They are taking centerstage right now since they have not left for their flight south. I think we saw 15 to 25 of them just after snappping this photo.
