A Red Tail

Teresa took the top photo, and I took the one below it. We saw three Red-tailed Hawks last week. The bottom photo has lots of problems but the one Teresa’s took is a great shot.

There was two of them circling over the Stillwater River. I assume they were looking for lunch. After we showed up, they did not stick around long.

Now to something different: I am going to be speaking at The Mac Group: Dayton on April 13. I will be talking about recent changes to the USB standards. I am even more excited to share that I will be speaking at MacStock in July. I will share more details about that as it gets closer. If you are a user of Apple great, this conference is for you. On the River

It won’t be long until these trees get dressed. For now, scenes like this capture my dreams and my attention. Teresa and I hiked this trail along the Stillwater river last week. I shot this photo from about 10 feet out into the river using my drone, on the river.

Walking On Water

Teresa and I were driving through the Stillwater Prairie Reserve, heading to one of our favorite hiking spots when I saw this scene. One of these geese seemed very confused by the ice, the other one was just enjoying walking on the water.

A Bluebird Reunion

I included a couple photos of these Eastern Bluebirds in the video we published earlier this week, but I can’t stop looking at them. They were flying near the hiking trail we hiked. They were very close to the banks of the Stillwater River. I counted at least 8 of them, but I think the number was much higher. I just couldn’t keep track. I guess it was a bluebird reunion. I didn’t see any females. Such a beautiful bird.

A Small Creek

Teresa photographed this scene a few days ago. It speaks peace to the soul.

We put together this video yesterday... lots of birds and nature:
