Another Red Head

This Red-bellied Woodpecker was making his way along this branch .. maybe 25 feet off the ground. I guess I am on a streak of days photographing woodpeckers. Crazy.

Jeepers

It's that time of year .. Jeepers, Brown Creeper. I do not see this species often. In fact I think I have only photographed one in the past.

At Work

I love the American Goldfinch. Here is a little fact:

American Goldfinches breed later than most North American birds. They wait to nest until June or July when milkweed, thistle, and other plants have produced their fibrous seeds, which goldfinches incorporate into their nests and also feed their young. (Sourse: All about birds)

Just a Cow

These are the fist Cowbirds we have seen this year. Two males but I am sure there was a nearby female .. I just missed the photo opportunity. That happens.
