Yes, we got snow. It is too early for this much snow but it has arrived. The deer do not seem to mind.

Teresa captured this stunning photo at Big Woods this week. We were actually driving to the feeder near the back of the reserve when the deer unexpectedly appeared, at least that’s what it seemed like. She quickly took this photo .. beautiful.

I waz really surprised at how well this photo turned out. We saw this squirrel just in time to see him take off at full speed. I had to anticipate his speed, direction and ultimately predict where to aim the camera. I was shocked that it was no blurred. It is a Eastern Fox Squirrel.
