Can I Escape This Way?

This was so cute. This bridge crosses the Stillwater river. We walk across it every week one or two times. As we walked toward it on this day we were surprised to see this very young squirrel. I guess we caught him by surprise. We waited to see if he would come back off the bridge by the 'normal' route but as you can see, he decided to look for an exit over the side. The problem was the river was down there. He walked it back a few feet and then went over the edge. It was so cute.

King of the …

Many years ago, when I was a young we played 'king of the hill'. The objective was to be on top of the 'hill' while everyone else attempted to remove you. It was often rough. The larger turtle in this photo seems to be on the hill and I doubt the little one is going to take over his position. ~ Rick

How The View Has Changed

This is one of my favorite spots in all of Miami County, Ohio. This is the Stillwater river and it is just beautiful. Frankly, this photo does not do it justice. The beauty speaks to my soul in a deep way.

I have photographed this view so many times, but it is extra special in the spring. The colors make the photo: the greens and other colors of summer are great. It's nice in hot too.

Blooming

We hiked at Garbry Big Woods Sanctuary this week. It was not real warm, but it still felt good to be out hiking. We saw some fresh green and these beautiful blooms. Life is wonderful and nature is getting on it's spring colors .. slowly.

Out In The Cold

Yes, this is different. I saw this horse and had to pull over and snap a photo. Frankly, it was cold but she didn't seem to mind.
