A Bluebird Hangout!

On Monday we saw a large number of Eastern Bluebirds. At about this same time of year that I last saw this many of them .. near the same location. Of course, we went back the next day ... not a single bluebird.

Introducing Mr and Mrs ..

We did not see any cardinals for months, and then this last few days we have seen a large number of them. This happy couple was hanging out at the Stillwater Prairie Reserve this week. So cool. I am actually not sure this is the couple because we saw so many of them. That said, these two were together, so I assume this is a couple.

Count Them …

When I took this photo, I saw 1 cardinal. Setting here looking at the photo, I see three, and maybe four. This is not my best cardinal photo, but I still love it.

A Tree Party

We continue to see a large number of Robins. I didn’t count them, but this tree was loaded. It appears they found a snack that they enjoyed.

Sharing A Feeder

I was surprised when I caught these two woodpeckers in the same photograph. One is a Red-bellied Woodpecker, the other one is a Downy Woodpekcer. They didn’t stay long.
