Yellowthroat Returns

It was cloudy and this is not a great photo .. maybe I'll get another opportunity soon .. but this is a Common Yellowthroat. I love this warbler. We heard more of them but this is the only one we were able to locate and capture in a photo.

A Yellow Dot

It was a long shot: from where we were standing all we could see was a small yellow dot in a distant tree. I use all of my camera's zoom to get this photo. It turned out better than I expected. What a beautiful Common Yellowthroat.

Not So Common

Looking back over the last 6 years, I really have not seen a lot of Common Yellowthroats. For me, they have not been very common. This year, I am seeing them frequently .. much more common. Beautiful bird with a beautiful song.
