We just about stepped on this little guy. I think this is the first photo I have shared of a snake.

Just a harmless snake

I have heard them called garter snakes, garden snakes, gardener snakes, and recently ribbon snakes. Harmless, but can surprise the unexpecting. I took this photo years ago on a walk through Garbry Big Woods.
