Hole Driller
I absolutely love the northern flicker. They are beautiful, even if they do spend most of their time yelling at my fence and trying to drill holes in the siding. Truly, nature's most persistent interior designers.

Waxwing Stopover

Gourmet Bug Hunting
This nuthatch clearly decided that the all-you-can-eat seed buffet was officially closed, and it was time to take a leap of faith into the trees for some gourmet bug hunting. Either that, or it was just trying to dramatically exit the conversation.
