Christmas Hiking

We took a short hike on Christmas Eve beforfamily activity begin. I was quite surprised see this cardinal. We see them in this location frequently but this one didn't fly away. I had my iPhone and was able to capture this photo.

Have a very Merry Christmas.

Powerful River

This is the Stillwater River last week after some heavy rainfall. The photo really does not capture the energy in the river. It was powerful to watch.

Nature On The Job

Nature seems to send the American Robins when the bird photography gets slow. Thank you mother nature. 🧐

Next Project?

I would love to capture a video of a shot like this. I have seen videos like what I am thinking but I have not tried to do it myself. Sounds like a project I need to jump into.

Golden Crown .. Maybe

I did not get a good look at this bird. This was the only phpoto I captured. I think it is a Golden-crowned Kinglet, but I may never know for sure. I am going to return to this area soon and see if I see more. They are in this area in the winter so maybe!
