Frog Legs 😳

We saw several of these bull frogs getting some sun on Saturday morning. They had no problem making a lot of noise. Frog legs .. I have said it before, and I will say it again. I love frog legs:).

It’s About Time

Teresa and I hiked along the Stillwater river yesterday where we saw two Indigo Bunting’s. This is the first ones that we have seen in the spring. Seems like it should’ve been here a couple weeks ago but they are here now.

Run, We Have Been Seen

There was three of them. It was the middle of the afternoon, and the first one slowly walked into the middle of the road. She did not see us setting at the drive entranced just fifty feet to the north. She looks over, spotted us, and darted across the road. Next thing you know, there are three of them, running through this field. There is no cover there, so they just ran. Up the road about another 100 feet, they crossed the road to get cover in the foliage. It was beautiful.

More Detail!!

I had to post this photo of this Great Blue Heron. It so much better than the photo posted recently. This one was not flying nearly as fast, and it was an open lake, so I was able to track and capture a better shot. Love the details!

Where Are The Bugs?

The rain has slowed down. Now for the warmer temperatures to come back. We saw this woodpecker searching for bugs in the trees yesterday. She was really going at it.
