A fall postcard

I was really pleased with how this photo came out. No, this is not from my DSLR. I took this photo while we were hiking at the John A Wannemacher Nature Reserve. The wind was crazy, but I was flying the drone anyway. I had a few issues, but this photo was taken at a relatively low attitude. Yes, I shot this with the drone. The sky is a little washed out, but I am really happy with how it turned out. There are more photos in the video below.

Cardinals

This photo is from several weeks back. She was enjoying the last days of summer. The seasons come and go, but Cardinals don’t migrate. That said, it has been a while since I have photographed one. Maybe today😳😬.

VOTE! Yes, today is the day.

Country road ...

This country road runs along the north size of Kiser Lake. The trees are beautiful. It’s mostly yellows, but there is still some green, and a little red and orange. Teresa took this photo.

I think there is much more color this year than we have seen here in several years. Maybe I’m just paying more attetion to it. What do you think?

Creators Corner

I’m teaching a class on creating holiday videos using Apple Clips and iMovie this coming Saturday as part of monthly meeting of The Mac Group (TMGDayton) .. that’s the local Mac users group. We meet at 10:00A to noon.

Here is the link for more details. Anyone is welcome to attend. Contact me if you have questions. If there is enough interest, I could do this as a webinar.

The title on the web pages says its for iPhone, but there will be tips for using the iPad and Mac too.

Fall Swans

We were really surprised to find these two Swans at Kiser Lake yesterday. They are so graceful. I assume they are migrating and this was just a temporary stop.

We went there to photograph the foliage. It was not as good as I expect, but the Swans made up for the lack of bright colors. There are more photos and some drone footage in the video below. Enjoy.

The color continues

This is another drone photograph. I was not flying very high, but this perspective is wonderful. I’m excited to get back out and take more fall photos, once this rain stops. In nature and landscape photography, perspective matters .. a small change in how you look at the scene can make a big difference. Life is kind of like that too.

Enjoy the weekend, and get outdoors and take a picture. Share them .. I would love to see them.

I sold my 12.9” iPadPro, and I am still selling the 10.5” iPadPro. I can’t deliver it until near the end of the month. If you are interested, and that timing works for you, let me know. If you are interested in a 12.9” iPad, a friend has one for sell. It has 64g. I can connect you if this is of interest.
