Woodpecker focus

Teresa captures this photo of these two woodpeckers earlier this week. They ignored her and stayed focus on the work at hand. I guess that’s good focus. There are days I needed that kind of focus!

Fall on the river

FullSizeRender.jpg

The views have been amazing this week. Now if the rain would just let up. This shot was taken along the Miami river on. Wednesday. It was warmer this week. I am still seeing a lot of woodpeckers, but winter is approaching quickly.

Color .. autumn in Ohio!

DJI_0004.JPG

The colors have arrived in Ohio .. I recommend getting out this week and take a look.

The photo above was during a sunrise, so it has some extra color from a beautiful sunrise. The video below has even more great photos and some cool video. Enjoy.

And a quick note: I have two iPads that I am trying to sell.

iPadPro 10.5” (2017) w/ wifi only, 512g memory & Smart Keyboard. Asking $595

iPadPro 12.9” (2017) w/ wifi only, 512g memory & Smart Keyboard. Asking $795

Both of these have remaining apple care for several more months. Make me an offer.

I’ll toss in a Apple Pencil for $50 for one of these. DM, call or text me if you are interested. I do all my photo and video work on these iPads. They are amazing computing machines.

A squirrel learns about failure

IMG_0709.JPG

The squirrels have been very active as they prepare for winter. While we were hiking last week, I saw one fall out of a tree. I think he fell at least 30 feet. He didn’t just lay there! Next think I saw was him climbing up another tree. Clearly, this beautiful animal has learned from failure. The lesson: when you fail, get up, dust yourself off, and move forward. Failure is a wonderful teacher, and required for success.
