Blooming

We hiked at Garbry Big Woods Sanctuary this week. It was not real warm, but it still felt good to be out hiking. We saw some fresh green and these beautiful blooms. Life is wonderful and nature is getting on it's spring colors .. slowly.

Out In The Cold

Yes, this is different. I saw this horse and had to pull over and snap a photo. Frankly, it was cold but she didn't seem to mind.

Give Me A Minute

Picture this: We are driving near Big Woods Reserve. I turn a corner and Teresa ask me to stop. I am a good guy so I do as she ask. She hops out of the car with her camera. What a good call. This little creek was just beautiful .. kind of like her, just beautiful. It was cold too, but warmer weather is coming.

Muddy Hike

Even with all the rain, we decided we needed to get out and hike so we head over to Maple Ridge Reserve. We kind of figured it would not be too wet given the type of trails at this location.

Well, we reached the point in the first photo and decided to see how it was. Sadly, it was extra wet. The ground was saturated with water and very muddy .. see my boots.

We had to give poor Cooper a bath. We really didn't see much but it was good to be out in nature. Sometimes you just need too enjoy the discomfort.
