Hiking We Will Go

Early this past week Teresa and I decided to head to Hueston Woods State Park. The colors were not nearly as vibrant as at other locations. In fact, just a mile up the road we saw a lot more color. That was just interesting.

I still love this view. We hiked here for an hour or so, and then head back north.

This Green Pond

The water level of this pond is way down, and its still very green. There was still a lot of green in these trees. That said, the mix of color is very cool.

This video contains photos and videos we have shot over the last two or three weeks. There are more photos than I am comfortable putting in a single video, but I wanted to share all of them. There are more, but these are some of the best!

Greenville Falls

I shot this photo late last week at the Greenville Falls State Scenic River Area. Water levels are very low and the colors are not at their peak, but it was still beautiful. If the rain and wind over the weekend don’t wipe it out, I will try to take the same photo early this coming week.

More Color

We have been hiking at various places to capture the fall colors. I am about to put together a video with a lot of photos, but I wanted to share a couple today. I love this color. The weather is getting cold, but the colors are just beautiful.

This Old Tree

I took this photo while we were hiking at Stillwater Prairie Reserve. I love this old tree. I’m not sure it will be around much longer. The cycle of life.

We drove to Hocking Hills today to see if the fall colors have arrived. It was mixed. Mostly still a lot of green, but some color. We will try again in a few days.
