Of all the sulphur butterflies, I think the Orange Sulphur is my favorite. They are so bright and really stand out. If you see a yellow butterfly in your yard, watch for the bright orange version. They are gorgeous.

This is a very small butterfly. It is a Gram Blue. It reminds me of anotehr small butterfly that we have photographed many times: the Azure. Such a beautiful butterfly.

This happened at about the same time every summer. We start to see fewer birds and an increase in the number of butterflies we photograph. This week it was a large population of Pearl Crescent butterflies. Beautiful small butterfly!
