There Is Always A First

This sure looks like a Horned Lark. If it is, it's a young male. I guess I am going with this .. a Horned Lark. This is the first time I have photographed a Horned Lark.

Master Of Disguise

When I spotted this bird I thought it was a northern cardinal. Later when I was looking at the photo I chenced my mind. I think it this is a Summer Tanager. I could be wrong, but I am going with it.

It’s Been A While

Over the last few days I was thinking that it has been a long time since we have photographed a Northern Cardinal. While we were hiking yesterday I even mentioned it to Teresa. Right on time this beautiful cardinal appeared and moved into a spot where I was able to capture this photo. What a beautiful bird.

Branch Manager Inspecting The Office

I sure spend a lot of time trying to. photograph this Tufted Titmouse. He didn't take off but danced around making it very difficult. This photo is a little dark but I like how it turned out.
