A Small Head?

I have always thought Mourning Doves have a very small head, but given the well feed state, this one is even more interesting.

Like I Was Saying …

This was funny .. we were hiking and not seeing any birds. I told teresa that I thought many birds were already migrating south. In fact, I specifically mentioend not seeing any more Eastern Towhees until next spring. Withing minutes we see two Eastern Towhees, a male and a female. I only got a photo of the male.

Butterfly And Iron

I love Ironweed and love butterflies even more. This photos gets some of both making for a very interesting photo.

The Cabbage White photo is not nearly as cool as the contrast with the Ironweed.
