Colors Here And There

While we were at Grand Lake St. Marys this week, we saw a few of the missing fall colors. It's interesting, but I see a tree here and there, but most of the time its like the bottom photo. I guess we will wait for next fall.

How many?

The weather may be cooler, but there is no shortage of Canadian Geese. This is only a few of them .. I should have counted. Cooper was really excited to see them but a grouchy goose would not be a good thing for our little puppy.

Beautiful Song

We saw this Carolina Wren while hiking at Grand Lake St. Marys State Park this week. This wren was going to town singing a such a beautiful song.

Since the carolina wren does not migrate we hope to see him again .. soon.

Season Of Change

The season has changed and winter is upon us. I even captured a video of snowfall this weekend that I will share soon. As much as I dislike cold weather, I have to say the variety makes things interesting. Stay warm and enjoy the seasons.

Honey, I Shrunk …

One of the things I don't do often enough is photograph the floor of the forest. When you stop and look down you often see some amazing beauty of nature. It is often there to see ... we just don't take time to stop and look around.
