Clear Water

I have taken photos of this pond in the past. During the summer, the water is not nearly this clear. The clarity of the water made for a great photo. I used a wide angle shot to get the sky and water in the same photo. It looked like fall on this near winter day.

Upgrade Time

I purchased a new iPhone 12 Pro Max last week. This is a very large phone, but I love the camera. The lens system has been revised, and it is very cool. I have been testing it all week! The four ponds I included today were all captured using the standard camera app on this new phone. I slightly edited the photos (reduced shadows and highlights, and slightly increased the birghtness). I am impressed. I need to get a night shot. That’s coming, but the photo below is a night shot I took just as a quick test. Its not framed well, but you get the idea.

No Rain This Time

This photo is from a couple of weeks ago. This is one of the fishing ponds at the Stillwater Prairie Reserve. I could not resist the photogaph of the clouds and the reflection in the pond.

It looks like it may be about to rain, but on this day I stayed dry. A few days later, I took a shower when a sudden downpour caught me off guard 🌧. I was walking on the bike path about 1 mile from home when the rain started. To say I was soaked is an understatement. 🤣

Ponds, lakes and eagles

The temperature is going to be a little lower for a couple days. I captured this photo of Echo Lake as the day was ending Wednesday. There is still a lot of green, and I love the colors in this photo. The clouds made this picture more beautiful.

I love this Falls foliage prediction map. I will be using this to plan a couple of photography outings. Check it out!

Teresa and I went to Kiser Lake for todays video. It was cooler, and we had a visit from a Bald Eagle. Enjoy the video.
