The Hunt

We took a short drive to one of our favorite locations for nature photography on Christmas Eve. I saw this hawk land in a large tree not far away. It was a Broad-winged Hawk. She was not in a good spot for a photograph, but I shot these two photos. What a georgous bird.

I caught this snowman in the christmas tree. Not sure how he managed to get in there, but nature can do some amazing thngs.

Loud Crows

One of the most common birds you see here this time of year is the American Crow. Of course, you hear one long before you see him. They are rather loud and obnoxious.
