It has been incredibly rainy here lately. I can't remember the last time the grass and trees were this vibrant in September. While the wet weather didn't convince the birds to stay, the landscape is beautifully lush. I guess I need a photo of the green:).

We visit this farm weekly to pick up fresh eggs. While it doesn't happen every time, the farm was in full swing today with plenty of chickens running around.

I absolutely love the northern flicker. They are beautiful, even if they do spend most of their time yelling at my fence and trying to drill holes in the siding. Truly, nature's most persistent interior designers.
