Snow And More Snow

DSC_4462.jpeg

I sure hope eveyone is safe and warm. We have not been able to get out and take photos for a couple days. Sadly, in some parts of the US, people are having big issue with the cold and snow. Be safe!

This photo was taken last weekend. I love the color of the Carolina Chickadee.

Birds Of A Feather

DSC_0004.jpeg

The sparrows have been very active this winter. I have always seen a lot of them but it sure seems like their population has been more dense this winter. Teresa captured this photo while we were hiking last week .. this is just a small sample. SO MANY sparrows.

Blue Nesting

There must be an Eastern Bluebird nest or two near this location. I have visited this location several times over the last few weeks and see these birds there most days. The one in the first photo looks very young too.

Facts I did not know: The Eastern Bluebird is the state bird of New York and Missouri.
