A River, clouds and nature

The weather continues to keep us guessing. On Saturday, the temperatures were moderate at about 58°F, but the wind was crazy. We took a long hike along the river, where I shot this photo. The sky was so amazing, and the Miami River was just beautiful. Have a great week!

Reflecting colors

This is the last photo form Thumb Lake that I will share here. This is another drone shot. I love how the colors in the reflected image are more vibrant than the real thing. The lighting and angles just worked out that way.

Check out these colors ..

We spent a couple days in northern Michigan this week. Our goal was to photograph some of the foliage. There was spots where it was already brown, but we found some great places to photograph. The video below has many more photos and some drone footage. I hope you enjoy. (Teresa took this photo .. one of my favorites).

I think I am going to work on the format of the vlog .. I want to make some changes. I am founding it to be a great way to share more photos, and I love making videos, especially with the drone, but it needs more personality. I’m still trying to figure it out, but you will see some changes over the next few weeks. I also think I may only publish twice a week.

Sunrise pond

I took this photo while I was hiking at Sycamore State Park. The temperature was about 36°F but the water was still warm. The results .. this amazing view. Stay warm!
