A Sun Break

We finally had a couple of beautiful days. Yes, it was still cold, but when the sun shows up, and the sky is blue, my mind seems to work better.

This is the Stillwater river. In the second photo you can see the thin layer of ice that has survived the sun. The trees are mostly bare, and while some foliage has survived this first blast of arctic air, its clear we have a long winter yet to come.

Fall On The River

Teresa took this photo last week. This river was low, but not as dry as what I shared yesterday. It looks so peaceful and as still as a sheet of glass in many spots. I love nature.

What River?

I shot these photos while we were hiking last week at Hueston Woods. This is the creek or river that runs through the park ... it was dry. (The second photo was tough due to the lighting conditions .. I would normally have deleted this photo, but it will work).

A Bridge .. A Trail

I shot this last weekend. I’m shocked that there is still some green,but I’m seeing that. We drove down south to where my youngest son and his family live near Cincinnati and its still beautiful there.

That small bridge leads to a trail that follows the tree line, and then circles around to the east. (Facing north-west in this photo). I prefer to hike when its a little warmer, but the temperature has been on the low side this week. Regardless, it’s still beautiful outdoors.

Amazing Clouds

I am sure you have had this experince: You are just driving down road when you notice the clouds are so cool. You stop the car for a photo .. Click 📸!! Good job!

Cloud formations are amazing. For me, this experience usuaully happens when there is a storm brewing. Or perhaps on a cold winter day with those heavy, dark clouds.

On this fall day, these clouds were amazing. The Sun rays poked through making for a cool photo too. Life is good.
