Looks like glass ..

I love it when the surface of water looks like glass. I took a walk earlier this week. This is the 1st photo I have taken of this bridge, but it sure looked good. The clouds, trees and bridge make this look really cool.

Teresa and I took a hike today, but we didn't see much so a new video will ready on Friday or Saturday.

A little color

We went back to Lake Loramie State Park today to capture the last of the great fall colors. The blue herons were there in large numbers. A very good hike!

Red ... and some butter

I don’t have a lot to say about this photo. I just love the colors and the buttery depth of field of the background. It’s hard for me to believe it’s November. We are approaching Thanksgiving quickly, and then it’s Black Friday. Time sure passes quickly.

A fall postcard

I was really pleased with how this photo came out. No, this is not from my DSLR. I took this photo while we were hiking at the John A Wannemacher Nature Reserve. The wind was crazy, but I was flying the drone anyway. I had a few issues, but this photo was taken at a relatively low attitude. Yes, I shot this with the drone. The sky is a little washed out, but I am really happy with how it turned out. There are more photos in the video below.

Country road ...

This country road runs along the north size of Kiser Lake. The trees are beautiful. It’s mostly yellows, but there is still some green, and a little red and orange. Teresa took this photo.

I think there is much more color this year than we have seen here in several years. Maybe I’m just paying more attetion to it. What do you think?

Creators Corner

I’m teaching a class on creating holiday videos using Apple Clips and iMovie this coming Saturday as part of monthly meeting of The Mac Group (TMGDayton) .. that’s the local Mac users group. We meet at 10:00A to noon.
