Drone Hunters or Bug Catchers?

This is a tree swallow. They are experts flyers, and dart around in what appears to be totally random flight. The reality is they catch bugs mid-flight. They also like to get close to drones:).

It’s About Time

Teresa and I hiked along the Stillwater river yesterday where we saw two Indigo Bunting’s. This is the first ones that we have seen in the spring. Seems like it should’ve been here a couple weeks ago but they are here now.

Where Are The Bugs?

The rain has slowed down. Now for the warmer temperatures to come back. We saw this woodpecker searching for bugs in the trees yesterday. She was really going at it.

Towhee What?

This is an Eastern Towhee. Frankly, I have never seen one. Teresa captured this photo while I was a 50 or 60 feet away flying my drone. I guess I should have been focusing 😂😱
